20-21 Lunch Program Information
Updates as of September 7, 2020
Due to staff shortage, onsite meals will be cooked at Raton Schools and delivered to all school sites in Cimarron, Eagle Nest and Moreno Valley High school for on-site students. Meals picked up and delivered to remote learning students will be a 5 day meal kit with breakfast and lunch for the full week and only be available for pick up or home delivery on Tuesday. We will continue this process until Cimarron Schools can safely bring back on-site staffing and cooking.
Update as of September 2, 2020
We have received notification from the USDA that starting tomorrow, September 3rd, we will be able to provide free meals to all students and any child, ages 0 to 18, that resides in the community. They do not have to be enrolled in the district. Meals can be picked up between 12 noon and 1:00 pm at the Cimarron Elementary School, Eagle Nest School, and Moreno Valley High School. Please spread the word! Thank you!
Update as of August 14, 2020
After calculating the number of meals served this week, it is evident that we have a substantial number of students that are not getting meals due to the new costs associated. Cimarron Municipal Schools has decided to cover the additional cost of breakfast and lunch for all students through December. Your Free/Reduced Application has been mailed to each student. Please fill these applications out and return to the school.
Meals will be served to students on site each school day including Monday School once per month. Meals can be picked up from 12-1 at MVHS, Eagle Nest Elementary Middle School and Cimarron Elementary Middle School.

As of Tuesday, August 18, school meals will be free to all Cimarron Municipal Students through December.

School meals are only free for students who qualify for benefits based on Application for Free or Reduced Meal School Lunch meal price.
Students that do not qualify for free meals can pay for meals at the time of pickup or can be billed on a monthly basis.
