Delayed Start for CHS
Good evening. Due to the fire marshal inspection not being completed today as scheduled, the Cimarron Municipal Schools Board of Education has made the decision to delay the start of school for Cimarron High School ONLY until Tuesday, August 21. Again, Cimarron High School will not start school tomorrow, but will start on Tuesday, August 21. There will be NO construction workers on site during school hours, once school starts. All other schools, Cimarron Elementary Middle School and Eagle Nest Elementary Middle School, will start tomorrow, Thursday, August 16, as scheduled. The intentions of the school board are that this will NOT impact the school calendar for the rest of the school year. We apologize for this inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
