Cimarron Municipal Schools is located in the heart of Colfax County in rural northern New Mexico. The Cimarron High School was established in 1910 with the first class graduating in 1913. Today, the Cimarron Municipal Schools serves three communities; Angel Fire, Eagle Nest and Cimarron. The District covers over 1400 square miles from Vermejo Park to Black Lake.
