New Principal at Eagle Nest Elementary/Middle School
Dana McBee has been selected to be the new principal of Eagle Nest Elementary/Middle School within the Cimarron School District.
Dana has worked at the Eagle Nest campus for Cimarron Municipal Schools for three years as a Special Education teacher, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teacher, SAT Coordinator, 3-5 Team Lead Teacher, Support Implementation Partner, and Head Lead Teacher. She has also served on several committees at the campus, district, and state level such as Leadership, Advisory, Behavior Supports, Community Grant Leadership, and Teacher Liaison.
Dana earned a bachelor's degree in Occupation Education specializing in Business from Wayland Baptist University and Master's in Educational Administration from Lamar University and has been an educator for 15 years, with 6 years in leadership and administration.
Mrs. McBee has a New Mexico administrators license, along with several other certifications spanning several subjects and all grade levels.
Dana has been married to Daron for 26 years and they have a daughter, Deziree and son, Daylon.
Cimarron Schools is pleased to welcome Dana McBee into the position of school principal where she will continue to support the students and staff at ENEMS.
